ABC works tirelessly in Tallahassee on behalf of the Commercial Construction Industry.  Whether it’s passing legislation that helps ensure a more open and competitive marketplace or pushing initiatives that streamline and clarify the regulations that govern our day-to-day – ABC of Florida is working to get things done for you.

Over the last few years we have passed legislation that:

• Improves competition on public works projects
• Added Transparency to the Permit Fee Process
• Reduced Retainage on Public Construction from 10% to 5%
• Worked with legislative leaders on Workforce and Apprenticeship Education Reform 
• Added clarity to Florida’s Statute of Repose
• Prevented an attack on the CCNA
