Guest Speaker: Leny Chango, Acting VPP Manager – Atlanta Region / Compliance Assistant Specialist, OSHA  - U.S. Department of Labor 

Ms. Leny Chango has been working with OSHA since 2012. Leny holds a degree in chemical engineering and, prior to OSHA, Leny worked in the petrochemical industry as an Industrial Hygienist for approximately 20 years. At OSHA, she began her career as a Safety and Health Compliance Officer and PSM Specialist in the Fort Lauderdale area office before transferring to the Houston North area office in 2019, where she led several investigations related to industrial hygiene and safety in Construction and General Industry. In 2022, Ms. Chango returned to the OSHA Fort Lauderdale Office as a Compliance Assistant Specialist. In this role, she is responsible for providing education, training, and guidance to employers and employees, with a strong emphasis on hazard prevention across differ kind of work sites.
